He represented Canada at the Tokyo Olympics, officially known as the 2020 Summer Olympics, which were held in 2021 because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

He competed in the men’s 100-kilogram category and finished fifth, narrowly missing an Olympic medal.

Elnahas returned to the Olympic stage at the Paris Games in 2024.

His participation in two Olympic competitions demonstrated his consistency at the highest level of international judo.

He also won gold at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England.

His transition into WWE has attracted interest because athletes from Olympic combat sports have previously found success in professional wrestling.
